Detoxing seems to be in fashion these days, doesn’t it! But if you’ve been looking at how to detox your body and felt confused, it’s ok, we’re about to simplify everything today!
Detox can feel overwhelming. There’s so much conflicting advice out there. It seems like there are 100’s of different protocols, and it’s confusing to know which one is best for you.
We are going to go over 11 practical, simple detox tips to help you get started and also figure out which ones are best for you and your body.
Living in this current time, unfortunately, we are all inundated with all sorts of toxicity that we come in contact with daily, through the air, our skin, food and drink.
Ready? Let’s dive in…
Common Signs Your Body May Be Struggling With Toxic Overload
Our bodies are beautifully intelligent and constantly trying to eliminate toxins through the liver, gut, skin, kidneys, lungs, and lymphatic system—but when those systems become overloaded, symptoms can begin to appear in everyday life.
You may notice one or several of the following symptoms. I can tell you now, I have experienced ALL of these symptoms at one time or another.
For me, the most prominent ones used to be fatigue, skin irritation, mood swings, bloating, loose stools, low libido, and feeling inflamed.
Energy & Mood

- Constant fatigue—even after sleeping
- Afternoon energy crashes
- Brain fog or poor concentration
- Feeling mentally “heavy” or unmotivated
- Mood swings, irritability, or feeling emotionally flat
- Anxiety, feeling wired, or overwhelmed easily
Digestion & Gut Health

- Bloating after meals
- Constipation or sluggish bowels
- Loose stools or digestive upset
- Excess gas or stomach discomfort
- Food cravings (especially sugar, caffeine, or processed foods)
- Feeling overly full or heavy after eating
Skin & Appearance

- Dull, tired-looking skin
- Acne, breakouts, or congestion
- Puffy face, especially in the morning
- Dark circles under the eyes
- Dry, itchy, or inflamed skin
- Bad body odour or stronger-smelling sweat
Hormones & Weight

- Stubborn weight gain or difficulty losing weight
- Water retention or feeling swollen
- Increased belly fat
- PMS symptoms or hormonal mood changes
- Irregular cycles or heavier periods
- Low libido or feeling disconnected from femininity
Sleep & Nervous System

- Trouble falling asleep
- Waking up between 2–4am
- Feeling tired but wired
- Restless sleep
- Waking up feeling tired (no matter how long you’ve been in bed)
Detox Pathway Signs:
- Frequent headaches
- Coated tongue
- Bad breath
- Sinus congestion or feeling “blocked up”
- Tender or swollen lymph nodes
- Feeling heavy, sluggish, or inflamed
If you can resonate with 2 or more of these symptoms, it’s time to start detoxifying your body with intention.
You may also be thinking, “How have toxins even been getting into my body in the first place?”
I also thought the same thing. I thought I was pretty healthy until I started learning how to read food and product labels and became really savvy at deciphering the monumental amounts of chemicals they put into our food and personal care products.
We put a lot of strain on our bodies and liver every day.
We breathe in pollution from our environment and chemicals, harmful fire retardants from our furniture, we eat food laden with pesticides and absorb toxins through our skin from the personal care products that we apply.
-If you buy food from supermarkets (packaged food)
-Wear perfume on your skin
-Apply makeup
-Use conventional deodorant (spray or roll-on)
-Apply body cream
-drink alcohol
-eat sugar
-eat processed food
-use laundry detergent/softener
-Use store-bought cleaning chemicals for your home (Mr Muscle and the like)
(Not to mention the energetic toxicity we accumulate through our thoughts and other people’s energy. In this blog post, we will stick to physical body detoxification and in another post, we can talk about how to detoxify the energetic body.)
How To Detoxify Your Body

1. Limit Toxins
The first true step is to stop/limit the amount of toxins coming into the body in the first place. Some of these things you can make easy swaps for today.
I’ve created a complete ‘Swap That For This’ Guide when it comes to personal care items, deodorant, skincare, make-up, haircare, kitchenware and cleaning products in the home that you use daily, where you can get them all from, so you can begin making healthier swaps.
I also make all of my own household cleaning items, which is so cost-effective, work better than conventional chemicals like bleach, limescale stuff and detergents, it’s kinder to our planet, and it protects our bodies from unnecessary chemical exposure.
You can download the e-book here if you need step-by-step guidance and recipes on how to make your own household Cleaning Items. I make laundry detergent, washing up liquid, hand soap, limescale remover, bathroom cleaner, kitchen cleaner, carpet cleaner and deoderizer and oven cleaner! It’s genuinely so easy, I promise and it’s all natural, toxin-free ingredients.
2. Supporting the Body’s Natural Detox Pathways

One of the things many women don’t realise is that the body is detoxifying all day, every day.
Your liver, gut, kidneys, skin, lungs, and lymphatic system are constantly working behind the scenes to process what you’re exposed to—from processed foods, chemicals in skincare, environmental pollution, medications, alcohol, stress hormones, and even the natural waste products created through everyday metabolism.
The body is incredibly intelligent. It knows how to break down and package these unwanted substances—but they still need a clear pathway out.
If detoxification pathways are sluggish, overloaded, or the bowels aren’t moving efficiently, some of those toxins can continue circulating in the body, leaving you feeling heavy, bloated, foggy, inflamed, and/or exhausted.
This is where binders can be incredibly supportive.
Think of binders as little internal “sponges” or “magnets.” They help bind to unwanted toxins, excess hormones, and metabolic waste in the digestive tract, supporting the body in safely escorting them out through regular bowel movements—rather than allowing them to linger.
One of my favourite times to use a binder is first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, when the body has spent the night repairing, cleansing, and processing. Supporting this natural elimination process can help us feel lighter, clearer, more energised, and less inflamed—sometimes within just a few days.
True detox isn’t about starving, fasting, or punishing the body…
It’s about supporting the systems that were beautifully designed to heal.
How to do it:
–Take a binder within 10 minutes of waking up to remove toxins accumulated overnight. Best taken on an empty tummy.
–I started with a gentle binder called Micronized Zeolite Detox Powder. It’s a great one to begin with.

Many studies have proven that zeolite, especially clinoptilolite, can aid in the detoxification of heavy metals from the body.
When I first started my detox journey seriously, I also took a second dose at night before bed to bind toxins released during the daytime. But, starting with a morning dose is perfect, work with your body and see how you feel.
3. Hydration: The Foundation of Daily Detox

One of the simplest yet most powerful daily detox habits is starting your day with clean, filtered water, a squeeze of fresh lemon, and a small pinch of rock salt.
This combination gently supports the body’s natural detox pathways first thing in the morning. Filtered water helps reduce the burden of unwanted chemicals and impurities, lemon provides a natural source of vitamin C and supports digestion, and rock salt helps replenish essential minerals and supports hydration at a cellular level.
Together, they help wake up the system, stimulate gentle digestion, and support liver function and elimination.
It’s so simple and extremely powerful.
This small daily ritual helps your body feel clearer, lighter, and more hydrated from the inside out. Which has a knock-on effect on so many other systems: brain function, metabolism, energy, focus & clarity.
How to do it:
Ingredients for Maximum Hydration:
- Filtered Water
- Lemon Juice
- Mineral salt
This is my morning routine:
- Pour the water halfway and top the rest up with cool water from the filter. (I’ve had this countertop filter for about 3 years and it’s bloody brilliant, just change the filters every 3 months, job done).
2. Wake up and feel gratitude for being alive, the beautiful bed I’m in, and the man of my dreams lying next to me!
3. Have a wee
4. Pour filtered water into the kettle
5. Cut a lemon in half and squeeze the juice into my mug (it’s a large mug, about 600ml)
6. Add one large pinch of Baja Gold Mineral Salt into the mug. Drink!
4. Replenishing Minerals: One of the Most Overlooked Foundations of Healing

One of the biggest things I see in women—especially busy mums, exhausted women, and those living in chronic stress—is mineral depletion.
Modern life can quietly drains us, unless we are proactive and intentional.
Chronic stress. Poor sleep. Processed foods. Caffeine. Alcohol. Over-exercising. Nutrient-depleted soil. tap water. Even years of dieting and under-eating can slowly strip the body of the very minerals it needs to thrive.
And yet minerals are involved in almost everything the body does.
They support:
- Energy production
- Hormone balance
- Nervous system regulation
- Hydration at a cellular level
- Muscle recovery and sleep
- Healthy digestion and elimination
- And even the body’s ability to detox naturally
Without adequate minerals, the body can begin to feel tired, wired, anxious, dehydrated, foggy, or stuck—because the cells simply don’t have the raw materials they need to function optimally.
I often explain it like this:
Trying to detox, heal, or lose weight without enough minerals is like trying to power a home with no electricity.
The systems are there… but they don’t have the energy to do their job.
This is why replenishing minerals daily can be one of the most powerful and quickest ways to support healing.
Women often notice better energy, fewer cravings, deeper sleep, improved digestion, and a greater sense of calm and groundedness when the body is properly nourished.
One of my favourite ways to support mineral intake naturally is through bone broth, mineral-rich whole foods, quality sea salt, leafy greens, and deeply nourishing meals that truly feed the cells.
On my list of blog’s I’d like to create is the power of Bone Broth and a step-by-step of how to make it. Once I’ve published it, I’ll let you know. Or if you don’t want to make your own, you can buy from Hunter & Gather, it’s the next best bet.
Real detoxification doesn’t begin with restriction, it begins with nourishment.
How to do it:

–Add a pinch of unrefined sea salt to your filtered water and drink throughout the day.
–Incorporate mineral-rich foods like bone broth, organic seaweed, and slow-cooked meats and ofal into your meals.
–Using magnesium flakes or Epsom salts in a relaxing evening bath really helps to calm your nervous system and support detoxification.
5. Protect Your Sleep, Elevate Your Detox Power

One of the most powerful healing tools we have—and one of the most underestimated—is deep, restorative sleep.
While you sleep, your body doesn’t just “switch off.” In fact, some of your most important healing and detoxification processes happen at night.
This is when the liver works hard behind the scenes, hormones begin to rebalance, cells repair, inflammation reduces, and the brain clears out metabolic waste accumulated throughout the day.
But for many women, quality sleep is being disrupted without them even realising it.
One of the biggest modern-day disruptors is blue light exposure after dark.
Phones. Laptops. Television screens. Bright LED lighting. Even scrolling social media in bed. I’m guilty of that last one, it took a little while to break the habit, but once I did, it changed everything.
These artificial lights send signals to the brain that it’s still daytime, which can suppress melatonin—the hormone responsible for helping us feel sleepy, calm, and ready for deep reparative sleep.
When melatonin is disrupted, sleep can become lighter, more broken, and less restorative.
Women often wake feeling tired, wired, puffy, foggy, or craving sugar and caffeine the next day—without realising their body hasn’t had the chance to fully restore.
As a side note, I recently wrote a blog post on sleep and weight loss. If you’re really struggling in the area of sleep, you can read it here.
One simple yet powerful practice I often recommend is reducing screen exposure after sunset or wearing blue light-blocking glasses in the evening.
It’s such a small shift—but it can make a huge difference to sleep quality, hormone balance, nervous system regulation, and the body’s natural overnight detox processes.
Some of the deepest healing happens in the dark.
How to do it:
–Wear blue light-blocking glasses after sunset to support melatonin production and improve the quality of your sleep. These are great: Ziffs Vision® Blue Light Blocking Glasses
–Switch to red lights or dimmer, soft lights, and activate the ‘night mode’ function on your devices after 8 pm to allow the brain to wind down, reduce stimulation and start releasing melatonin for the night ahead.
I tend to aim to shut off all screens at least an hour before bedtime for deeper sleep and A more powerful natural detox overnight. I’ll usually chat with Nick & Izzy, read my book or soak in the bath with a face mask on and some Magnesium in the tub.
6. Heal the Gut, Support the Whole Body

If there’s one place I always come back to when a woman is struggling with fatigue, bloating, skin issues, cravings, inflammation, stubborn weight, or hormonal imbalance… It’s the gut.
Your gut is far more than just a digestive organ.
It influences your immune system, hormone balance, mental clarity, mood, skin health, nervous system regulation, and yes—even your body’s ability to naturally detox and eliminate waste.
When the gut is inflamed, sluggish, or struggling to absorb nutrients properly, it creates a ripple effect throughout the entire body.
I spent years doing “all the right things”—eating healthy, exercising, taking supplements—yet still feeling bloated, exhausted, foggy, or struggling with their weight.
And often, the missing piece is that the gut simply needs supportive healing.
One of the most powerful ways to begin healing the gut is not through restriction, it’s through deep nourishment.
Feeding the body with foods that help repair, restore, and rebuild.
Some of my favourite gut-supportive foods include:
- Slow-cooked bone broth, rich in collagen, amino acids, and minerals
- High-quality eggs from pastured hens
- Slow-cooked meats and deeply nourishing proteins
- Fermented foods like sauerkraut, kefir, natural yoghurt, or kimchi (pr0-biotic foods)
- Quality fats and mineral-rich whole foods
- Supplement wise, L-Glutamine is an incredible gut healer
These foods help support the gut lining, nourish beneficial bacteria, reduce inflammation, and create a stronger internal foundation for healing.
When the gut begins to heal, women often notice the most beautiful shifts:
Less bloating
Better digestion
Clearer skin
More stable moods
Fewer cravings
Sharper thinking
Increased energy
When you heal the gut you begin healing far more than digestion. You begin healing your entire body, brain and hormonal system.
How to do it:
–Focus your meals around gut-nourishing foods like bone broth, organic eggs, and fermented foods like raw sauerkraut, kefir and kimchi.
–Cut out inflammatory foods like seed oils, gluten, grains, and processed sugar as much as possible.
7. Move, Circulate, and Let the Body Sweat

One of the most natural detox pathways we have is something many completely overlook: sweating.
Our skin is our largest organ, and it plays a powerful role in elimination.
When you sweat, you’re not just regulating temperature—you are supporting the body to release metabolic waste, environmental toxins, and stored impurities that the body no longer needs.
But in modern life, so many women are simply not moving or sweating enough.
We spend long hours sitting indoors, under artificial heating or air conditioning, often moving from car to desk to sofa. Over time, this can lead to sluggish circulation, reduced lymphatic flow, low energy, and a feeling of heaviness in the body.
When the lymphatic system isn’t moving well, the body can feel like it’s “holding on” rather than releasing.
This is why gentle, consistent daily movement can be so powerful.
I am not talking about punishing workouts or extreme exercise routines.
I am talking about daily circulation and natural sweating in a way that supports the body, not stresses it.
This might look like:
- A brisk walk outside in fresh air
- Gentle exercise that raises body temperature (body weight exercise is great)
- Yoga or stretching that wakes up the lymphatic system
- Time in a sauna or an infrared sauna.
- Even just 10–15 minutes of movement allows the body to naturally warm and release.
When we allow the body to move and sweat daily, circulation improves, lymph flows more freely, and the body’s natural detox pathways begin to function more efficiently again.
Many people, myself included, also find that regular sauna use supports overall well-being and cardiovascular health, alongside other lifestyle factors, highlighting just how powerful heat and circulation can be for the body.
But beyond the science, there is something deeper here.
When you move your body daily in a kind, supportive way, you are not just “burning calories.”
You are telling your body: you are safe to release, you are safe to let go.
And that is where true transformation begins, in the kind, loving intention to look after your precious body.
How to do it:

–Move your body every day, in some way, it can be anything you like, a fast-paced walk listening to your favourite music or podcast, or a home workout to break a light sweat. It doesn’t need to be gruelling gym smashes to be powerful!
–Use a sauna 2–3 times a week to encourage deeper detoxification and relaxation. My friend Julia has a sauna at home, which I just love. I’m in the process of convincing my husband that we need one too! I currently go to the local swimming pool, they have a small sauna and steam there, it’s nothing fancy, but it’s hot and does the job.
Follow all movement or sauna with proper hydration, add your minerals to your water to replenish and support kidney and skin detox. A pinch of the Baja rock salt is all you need.
Do not get roped into the marketing that says you have to buy fancy electrolyte powders; it’s one of the biggest scams out there!
8. Rethinking What Your Skin Is Exposed To Every Day
One of the most overlooked areas of health and detoxification is something most women never even think to question—what they are wearing against their skin all day, every day.
Because your skin is not just a surface. It is your largest organ.
It’s alive, responsive, and constantly interacting with its environment.
We often focus on food and skincare, but forget that our clothing sits against our body for hours at a time, creating constant contact with whatever those materials are made from.
Many modern fabrics are synthetic—such as polyester, nylon, spandex, and acrylic. These materials are widely used because they are cheap, durable, and stretchy, and they dominate everything from activewear to underwear to everyday basics.
However, synthetic fabrics are typically derived from petroleum-based sources and are designed in a way that doesn’t support breathability or natural temperature regulation in the body.
When the skin is warm, sweating, or under pressure from tight clothing, it is constantly interacting with these materials, and the skin absorbs.
Over time, this can mean the skin is not just “wearing clothes”—it is in continuous contact with chemical finishes, dyes, and residues used in manufacturing processes. Many garments are also treated to be wrinkle-resistant, stain-resistant, or antibacterial, which include additional chemical coatings.
A lot of these chemicals/plastics are forever chemicals, which means when they enter our precious bodies, we can’t get rid of them easily, the body doesn’t know what to do with them, so it will store these plastics and chemicals for safekeeping, mostly in fat cells and gallstones, where they can’t interact with cells, blood and membranes to cause damage.
From a holistic perspective, this becomes less about fear—and more about awareness.
Because when we begin to understand the body as an interconnected system, we realise everything matters:
– What we eat, what we think, what we breathe… and what we surround ourselves with daily.
This is not about perfection or throwing everything out.
It is about making more conscious, supportive choices over time.
I think it took me over a year to slowly replace my underwear and wardrobe.
–Choosing natural fibres where possible.
-Allowing the skin to breathe.
-Reducing unnecessary chemical load where you can.
When the body is supported gently in all directions, it doesn’t have to work as hard to stay balanced.
And that creates space for something deeper than detox. It creates space for ease, regulation, wellbeing and a happier you.
How to do it:

–Start with your underwear and the things you sleep in, as these stay closest to your skin for the longest time during the day and night. There are so many wonderful options! Choose bamboo, organic cotton, hemp, or merino wool.
–Stay away from labels that say “anti-odour” or “moisture/sweat-wicking”, as this often is code for ‘chemical shit storm’.
Take your time, like I say, it took me over a year. You can gradually replace synthetic clothing with some beautiful, high-quality natural options over time.
Your hormones, skin and liver will thank you greatly in the long run.
For Christmas, birthdays and anniversaries, I lovingly asked Nick for vouchers from my favourite shops or send him the link to the things I really wanted! Of course, you can just buy them for yourself, no need to wait for Santa.
9. Supporting Your Liver: Your Body’s Natural Filter

One of the most important organs involved in overall health and natural detoxification is the liver.
Your liver works quietly and constantly in the background, filtering and processing everything your body is exposed to—hormones, medications, environmental chemicals, alcohol, and metabolic waste produced by normal daily functioning.
It is one of the body’s most intelligent systems, designed to keep you balanced and protected.
However, in modern life, the liver is often under more pressure than ever before. We are exposed daily to environmental toxins, processed foods, plastics, pesticides, stress hormones, and sometimes medications that all require processing and clearance.
When the liver becomes overloaded or sluggish, it can impact the flow of bile—the digestive fluid that helps break down fats and carry waste out of the body. When this flow is not optimal, digestion can feel heavy, bloating may increase, and the body can feel like it is holding onto rather than releasing what it no longer needs.
From a holistic perspective, this is not about the liver “failing”—it is about the system asking for support.
And the good news is, the body is always responsive to care.
You do not need detox fads or harsh interventions. In fact, the liver responds best to consistency, nourishment, and gentleness.
Simple daily practices can make a profound difference over time—supporting bile flow, reducing stagnation, and encouraging the body’s natural ability to process and eliminate with ease.
This includes nourishing whole foods, adequate hydration, bitter foods that naturally stimulate digestion, gentle movement, and reducing unnecessary stress on the system.
In some cases (mine and many women I know), the liver has required a specific, intentional detox. I’ve done 8 liver and gallbladder detoxes over the years. They are powerful.
I’m in the process of creating a step-by-step guided Liver & Gallbladder Cleanse program. I’ll let you know when it’s done.
I remember the first few times I did this cleanse and expelled over 500 gallstones! My sleep improved almost instantly.
When the liver is supported, the entire body begins to feel lighter, clearer, and more in flow.
How to do it:

–Drinking bitter teas like dandelion root or lemon water before you eat to stimulate bile flow.
–Apply a castor oil pack to your liver area 2–3 times per week to support circulation and drainage. Dr Barbara O’neil is my favourite lady for castor oil guidance. Her book Self Heal By Design is lovely.
–Don’t eat too late at night, as this precious organ does most, if not all, of its deepest detox work while we’re sleeping.
10. Supporting Your Nervous System (EMF’s)

One of the most overlooked influences on how our body feels day to day is the environment we are constantly living in.
Beyond food, movement, and sleep, we are also interacting with an invisible layer of modern life—electronic devices, wireless technology, and constant connectivity.
From a holistic perspective, the body is always responding to its environment. It is constantly adapting, processing, and trying to stay in balance, both physically and energetically.
Throughout the day, many of us are surrounded by phones, laptops, Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth devices, and headphones.
This level of continuous stimulation can quietly keep the nervous system “switched on,” even when we don’t realise it.
Over time, this state of constant input can contribute to feeling mentally overstimulated, tired but wired, or unable to fully switch off and rest. When the nervous system is stuck in a heightened state, it naturally has less capacity for deep restoration, digestion, and repair.
This is not about fear or perfection—it is about awareness and balance.
The body was designed to move between activation and rest.
Between connection and stillness.
Between input and recovery.
When we begin to consciously reduce unnecessary stimulation throughout the day, we give the nervous system more space to settle. When the nervous system feels safer and calmer, the body has more capacity for energy production, hormonal balance, digestion, and natural repair processes.
This might look like simple, gentle choices:
- Putting your phone down at certain times of the day
- Taking breaks from constant screen exposure
- Creating pockets of quiet time, no tech time
- Allowing moments where your nervous system is not being stimulated by anything
Healing doesn’t just happen through what we add, it also happens through what we soften, simplify, and step back from.
Sleep Problems? Unplug Before Bed
On the subject of EMF’s, one of the most powerful things you can do for your health, hormones, and natural detox processes is to protect your sleep environment.
Related reading: How To Sleep Well – 8 Ways To Make Your Bedroom A Sanctuary
At night, our body moves into deep repair mode—healing tissues, balancing hormones, and supporting detoxification at a cellular level. But when your phone, Wi-Fi, and other devices are still active around you, your nervous system can struggle to fully switch off.
This is why I always recommend switching your phone onto flight mode before bed and reducing unnecessary digital stimulation in the evening.
It’s a simple shift, but it can make a profound difference to the quality of your sleep, your energy, and how restored you feel the next day.
I go deeper into this inside my sleep ebook, where I share practical, calming tools to help you support deeper rest and true overnight recovery, this book is helpful if you’re struggling with sleep and weight loss.
How to do it:
–Get rid of AirPods and Bluetooth wearables. I’ve gone back to the old school wired headphones, my daughter thinks I’m odd, but I don’t really care! I’ve tried to get her to switch too, she’s 18 and defiant. She won’t get rid of them, but wears them as little as possible. I got these inexpensive wired ones from Amazon.
–Keep your phone on aeroplane mode or in your bag when you’re not using it. Avoid carrying it in your pockets, close to your body.
11. Reducing Plastic Exposure in Everyday Life

One of the most overlooked areas (and I know I keep saying this, but it’s true, so much of this stuff IS overlooked!) of modern wellbeing is something we interact with constantly—often without even thinking about it: plastic.
Plastics are now woven into almost every part of daily life, from food packaging and water bottles to storage containers, clothing and household items.
Over time, certain compounds found in plastics can begin to interact with the food and water they come into contact with.
Some of these substances, such as BPA and phthalates, are known as endocrine-disrupting compounds, meaning they can interfere with the body’s hormonal system when exposure becomes frequent or long-term.
Globally, I feel we need more awareness of this cumulative load.
Even products labelled “BPA-free” may still contain alternative compounds that the body is not designed to process in large or repeated amounts.
Simple habits such as heating food in plastic, drinking bottled water regularly, or storing hot food in plastic containers can increase this exposure over time.
But this is not about doing everything perfectly or eliminating every piece of plastic overnight.
It is about understanding a simple but powerful truth:
Healing and detox are not only about what you add to the body—it is also about what you reduce around the body.
When women begin to gently reduce their reliance on plastic where possible—choosing glass, stainless steel, or natural materials instead—it becomes less about “detox rules” and more about creating a cleaner, lighter internal environment for the body to function in.
And over time, those small, consistent choices begin to add up.
How to do it:
–Switch to glass storage or stainless steel for your water bottles, food storage in the fridge, and cooking.
–Stop heating food in plastic containers. I detest the microwave and tend to re-heat in the oven or on the stove top.
If you have a local market where food is loose and not packaged in plastic would be ideal. The less you can buy in plastic, the better.
A Gentle Way to Begin
You don’t need to change everything overnight.
Real transformation doesn’t come from overwhelm, perfection, or trying to do it all at once—it comes from small, consistent shifts that you can actually live with.
These practices are not about adding pressure. They are simple, supportive upgrades that help your body do what it already knows how to do—release, rebalance, and restore energy naturally.
Imagine if you just started implementing one of these practices and started to feel 10% better. Imagine if you could get a deeper night’s sleep and wake up feeling more vibrant.
I know it can feel daunting, I know we’ve talked about a lot here, but I promise you these practices work and can have a huge impact on how you feel and look day to day.
More vibrancy, less puffiness and bloating, brighter eyes and more pep in your step.
Start with just 2 or 3 that feel realistic for you right now. Let them become part of your rhythm. Let them feel easy, not forced.
And from there, you build slowly.
This is how real, lasting transformation begins, one aligned decision at a time.
I love you,
